Premium Swiss (also listed as Swiss Premium in the Tabakfabrik Roth price list) is the unflavored variety in the Roth range: pure tobacco enjoyment without added flavorings. The 1 kg package is the classic size for heavy smokers and for anyone who creates their own blends.
Taste and Character
Premium Swiss showcases the mature natural flavors of the leaf itself: nutty and floral richness, rounded spice, and a delicate, natural sweetness. Because additional flavorings are completely omitted, you can taste the Swiss tobacco in its pure form.
Blend and Origin
The blend consists of two-thirds Burley and one-third Virginia tobacco, 100% grown in Switzerland. Its character is created solely through a light saucing with honey and sugar cane molasses – without the addition of any other flavorings. As a neutral base tobacco, Premium Swiss can be combined excellently with flavored varieties.
Cut
Unlike the other Roth pipe tobaccos, Premium Swiss is exclusively offered in a medium cut (approx. 3.5 mm).
