Western Shortfill – full American Blend made from three tobaccos
Western is the most complex tobacco blend from Montreal Original: Burley, Virginia and oriental tobacco come together to create the classic American Blend that defines the flavour of most popular cigarette blends. As a shortfill, this blend is nicotine-free and comes with 50 ml of e-liquid in a 70 ml bottle, leaving 20 ml for nicotine shots or base liquid.
What does Western taste like?
Each of the three tobaccos plays its own role: Burley provides a nutty, slightly earthy base, Virginia adds mild depth, and the oriental tobacco provides a dry, spicy finish. Together, they create a full-bodied vape that develops over the course of the inhale rather than revealing everything at once. The finish is dry and subtly spicy.
What sets Montreal Original apart from other tobacco e-liquids
Most tobacco e-liquids use recreated flavourings and a touch of sweetener. Montreal Original instead extracts tobacco flavours using reverse osmosis – a process used in the Canadian cannabis industry that the brand adopted for e-liquids after legalisation in 2018. The flavour molecules are extracted directly from the tobacco, leaving residues behind. The result is drier and noticeably less sweet than usual. Sucralose and added sugar are deliberately omitted, which also tends to keep coils clean for longer. The brand was founded in Canada in 2020; the recipes are developed in Canada and bottled in France.
How does a shortfill work?
A shortfill is a nicotine-free e-liquid in an intentionally oversized bottle. In this case, it contains 50 ml of e-liquid in a 70 ml bottle, leaving 20 ml of space that you can fill with nicotine shots or base liquid. Shake the bottle well after adding them. You can find suitable nicotine shots directly from Smoketown.
