Camacho Ecuador Gordo – the three-part profile in a large format
The Ecuador line is the most complex in the Camacho range, and the Gordo, with a ring gauge of 60, is its largest format. A burn time of around 70 minutes and a wide cross-section mean a cooler draw and more room for the creamy notes of the blend.
What does the Ecuador Gordo taste like?
In the first third, wood, earth, and fresh spice. In the second third, caramel, cream, and nuts. In the final third, pepper, floral notes, and citrus. The large ring gauge means more filler burns at once, making the middle, sweeter third more pronounced than in the Robusto of the same blend.
Construction
Wrapper from Ecuador, binder a Corojo Seco from Honduras. The filler combines Corojo 99 Seco and Criollo Volado from Honduras, Corojo 99 Ligero from Nicaragua, and a Pennsylvania Ligero from the USA.
