Camacho Corojo Toro – pure Corojo from Honduras
The Corojo is the line for which Camacho became known. The wrapper, binder, and filler all come from Honduras, and all three are Corojo tobaccos. This consistency makes the difference: Instead of a balancing blend from several countries, you get the unbridled character of a single tobacco. The Toro format, measuring 15.2 cm with a ring gauge of 50, lasts around 55 minutes.
What does the Corojo Toro taste like?
Bold and direct. Pepper, cedarwood, and fresh spice are in the foreground, with gentler notes of cream, earth, and roasted coffee underneath. The cigar demands a little attention and rewards it with depth. Those coming from mild cigars should start with a smaller format.
The construction
The wrapper is a Honduran Corojo, the binder a Corojo Ligero from Honduras – Ligero is the top, strongest leaf of the plant. The filler also comes entirely from Honduras. This single-variety construction is the reason for the straightforward, intense profile.
