Camacho Corojo Gordo – the large format of the Corojo line
The Corojo is Camacho's core line: the wrapper, binder, and filler come entirely from Honduras and are made entirely of Corojo tobacco. In the Gordo with ring gauge 60, this blend gets the largest cross-section in the range – and thus around 75 minutes of smoking time with a noticeably cooler draw.
What does the Corojo Gordo taste like?
The same profile as the smaller formats, just broader: pepper, cedarwood, and fresh spice at the front, cream, earth, and roasted coffee underneath. The larger ring gauge allows more filler to burn along, making the creamy notes stand out more clearly than in the Robusto. A cigar for evenings without time pressure.
The construction
Wrapper Honduran Corojo, binder Corojo Ligero from Honduras, filler also Honduras. Single-variety and without balancing foreign tobaccos.
