Sustainability is close to our hearts.
Sustainability and recycling at Smoketown
At Smoketown, we care not only about selling our products – we also want to actively do something for our environment together with you. That is why we not only take back used vapes free of charge, but also inform you about how you can properly dispose of and recycle your products. Each of us can make a contribution, and together we can achieve great things.
Proper disposal of vapes and accessories – Together for our environment
Vapes and e-cigarettes contain valuable raw materials such as lithium, which can harm our nature if disposed of incorrectly. To prevent this, we offer you the option to send us your used vapes every three months – regardless of where you bought them. We take responsibility for disposing of them in an environmentally friendly manner. And because we know that shipping costs can be a barrier, we refund the shipping costs in the form of free shipping on your next order. This way, you not only protect the environment, but also your wallet.
But you can also take action! Here are a few tips on how you can handle your old devices and accessories responsibly:
- Batteries and rechargeable batteries: These do not belong in household waste. Take them to collection points near you or send them back to us. We will take care of proper disposal.
- Packaging: Often, the packaging in which our products are delivered is recyclable. Please dispose of cardboard boxes and plastic films in the appropriate recycling containers. Or send the boxes back – we are happy if we can reuse them.
- Disposable vapes: Disposable vapes also contain valuable materials that should be recycled. Before you simply throw them away, check if there are recycling centers near you, or send the devices back to us – we will dispose of them for you.
Smoketown – Reuse instead of waste
If you also want to actively contribute to sustainability, we offer you the "Sustainability" option in our online shop. You can select this before completing your order. Please note that with this option, your delivery will not be discreetly packaged. We use used boxes that may bear manufacturer logos such as Winston or Marlboro, and seal the packages with tape that shows our Smoketown logo. Our motto: Reuse instead of waste. You help us avoid waste and conserve raw materials.
Together for a sustainable future
At Smoketown, we firmly believe that every small step counts. That is why we care not only about selling sustainable products, but also about supporting you in using and disposing of your products responsibly. Because we are convinced: Together we can make a difference.
If you have questions about disposal, recycling, or our sustainability initiatives, do not hesitate to contact us. Our team is always here to help you, because sustainability starts with all of us – and we are happy to walk this path together with you.
